I wrote this blog on how to renew Texas license for Filipino nurses working in Utilization Review Company here in the Philippines. Please note that this is just a guide for you, and you still have to do your own supplemental reading. I hope you find this helpful so you dont need to go to any agencies to process your license renewal.
You don't need to go to any agencies because it's really easy!
First, go to Texas Board of Nursing official website.
Click License renewal and choose "timely"- that if you are doing this before your license expires. Just before you print, type your name, license number, date of birth, address and email address on the spaces required.
The next part is using the statistical code sheet:
(Take note on the codes below)
Employment Status: 3 (Employed in other field full time)
Primary Specialty: 9 (Emergency Care)
Primary Practice Setting: 14 (Business/Industry)
Highest Degree: 3 (Baccalaureate in Nursing)
Primary Practice Position: 13 (Office Nurse)
Primary Employment Zip: (Zipcode of the City you are working at)
With the Texas Occupation Code:
Check: Non Compact State as primary state of Residency - Philippines
Tick what is necessary. Read.
In which states are you currently practicing nursing
Electronically- leave it blank
Telephonically- Philippines
Physically- Philippines
For the eligibility questions: tick when necessary
Sign with the date.
Provide the payment in "DEMAND DRAFT" (70 dollars)
It is easier to request in RCBC Savings Bank because they will process the cheque even if you don't have an account with them.
Finally, Send the first two forms with the payment to the address provided :
Texas Board of Nursing
333 Guadalupe, Ste. 3-460, Austin, TX 78701-3944
I live with a lot of questions on how to do this and that. I breathe to observe. I'd love to know more of the things that interests me. Outdoors. Anything. And how to do's.

How to link Unionbank EON card to PAYPAL
Getting a UNION Card EON Card at the branch, you need:
- 2 pieces VALID ID (at least one shows your current address and make sure the branch you are in is also within the area)
- Your reference number ( you have to go online at their website to put your application details)
- At least 500pesos (this includes the annual fee and the 200php you need in linking your EON account to Paypal)
Once you are at the branch, ask:
-how long is the activation of your account?
-when can you enroll for online banking?
In my experience, I waited 3-5 days then I called the customer service hotline because I couldn't wait longer. The customer service guy said, I should have received a letter from Unionbank which will mean my address is valid then they will activate my account or call the branch to make sure if they send the letter.
I called the branch and informed them I didn't receive any letter. And then they said they will activate my account in 24 hours. The next day, indeed, I got my account ready for ONLINE BANKING and most of all, this is the time to link it to PayPal.
Now, go to the UnionBank website and enroll for online banking. Then register to have Paypal Account too. TAKE NOTE: The address for both account should be the same!!! Or else you will pay a FEE and you don't want that. The activation goes around 1-2days or 3-5 days.
Once you have those both activated. Look for the Paypal's 4digits confirmation code and that can be retrieved thru online banking with your eon account at "TRANSACTION HISTORY". Get this code to finish your PayPal registration. :)
Whallah! Enjoy transfering money with Paypal thru your UnionBank Eon card.
Every Unionbank atm transaction costs 10php and using other atms cost 12php.
I hope I am able to help by writing all I've been through just to get this card and paypal here in the Philippines. :)
